In-person outreach classes are available on a limited basis.

High-quality early childhood music and movement classes, such as Musikgarten, are shown to:

  • create new neural pathways
  • develop active listening, comprehension, language, memory, and vocal response
  • develop balance and both fine and gross motor skills
  • teach the brain to notice patterns
  • engage social skills
  • help children achieve academically and socially
  • help children define body parts
  • transmit culture

Musikgarten offers instruction that is just right for each age level—from your baby who benefits greatly from being part of a live music environment, right up through preschool-age children who delight in exploring the Cycle of Seasons through dramatic play in a musical context.

Beginning simply with singing, moving, and exploring rhythm instruments, we add levels of complexity as the children grow, expanding the singing repertoire, teaching more complex dances, and eventually tying the songs and activities to music notation, preparing students for further study in private lessons, ensembles, or just for life!

Outreach Music Classes

We have limited availability for outreach classes at preschools, daycares, learning pods, and homeschool groups.
