What an exciting time for music-making! Our students and teachers are reaching new heights of excellence and want to share their talent with the community! We have great new programming and new inspirational momentum from our board, staff, faculty and parents. All of us at Apple Tree Arts invite you to come participate in making music this year and enrich your life with new experiences!

TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR!

We have streamlined our musical events into:

OUR NEW 2007 SEASONS OF THE ARTS EVENTS
We have scheduled a new light classical concert featuring our partner musicians from Claflin Hill Symphony.

MUSIC EDUCATION
• New faculty members in guitar, brass, and piano
• New performance workshops for all private students between recitals
• New 16-week semesters for early childhood classes
• New class called Intro to Keyboard. Students ages 5-6 will enjoy a more gradual approach to keyboard that completes level 1 over the course of one year
• New field trip in the spring of 2008 to Music Worcester that will be fun for all ages
• New adult music appreciation classes
• An adult workshop in Alexander technique for faculty and community members
• A new String Ensemble that meets at the same time as our New Arpeggio Wind Ensemble
• A timeline for early childhood music education, from birth through age 8
• A new Children’s Chorus for singers in grades 4-6
• February and April vacation workshops in musical theater vocal production, woodwinds, and strings
• An April Master Class in piano performance

The membership of our Community Chorus is over twenty strong in this our third winter season! Come join us and perform in December and, if you can, again in May, in collaboration with other choral and instrumental musicians.
We are ever grateful to our dynamic, dedicated board members, who are committed to long-range, strategic and financial planning. We also thank area foundations and businesses for giving us new opportunities to grow:
Greater Worcester Community Foundation, Target, Hart Foundation, Daniels Foundation, Gaudette Insurance, the Grafton Suburban Credit Union,
Fallon Community Health and E. Osterman Gas. We are stronger each year due to our parents and friends who have responded to our calls for support! We welcome all area residents to send us suggestions about ways to expand our role in the local arts community.
