New! Improv to the Max for actors in grades 6 and up
Have fun and unleash your creativity through improvisation (improv). Comedic television shows like “Who’s Line is It Anyway?” have popularized improv. Traditional improv games teach students the skills to think quickly on their feet and express themselves.
Using improv games, students will learn how to create a scene right on the spot a well as how to create original skits or a short play. No written scripts are used. The performance will include an interactive improv activity and an original skit or play.
Day/Time: Mondays, from 5:30- 7:00 pm beginning Feb 5 - April 30. (No class Feb. 19 or April 16).
Performance, "Creative Drama Night," is Friday May 4 and will be a collaborative effort with our “Acting Adventures” students.
