Out of the Shower: Vocal Technique Crash Course for Teens & Adults
Teens and Adults
In this three-hour group workshop, singers will learn the basics of healthy singing technique. Students will learn about anatomy of the respiratory and vocal tracts, efficient breathing techniques, balanced tone production, vocal registers, and vocal health. This clinic is ideal for singers in theater programs; community, school, or church choirs; bands of any style; or anyone who would simply like to improve his or her singing voice. Informational handouts will be provided, and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to practice skills. Students will leave with a basic understanding of how the voice works, how to sing both beautifully and healthily, and resources for further study.
Saturday August 11, from 10am - 1pm
