Ages 4-6

Music Makers- the next step on the pathway to musical literacy, this curriculum allows the active music making to continue, but in a wider, multi-cultural context.  In this final preparatory step to keyboard magic the children learn about The British Isles, Amerindians, Germany and African American cultures.  They will learn folk songs and dances of the various cultures, learn about the musical heritage of each area, singing, dancing, studying maps, listening to and acting out stories.  Children come to this 60 min class on their own, parent/caregivers join us for the last 15 min of class.  Class includes a CD, parent guide and a folder of the area we are working in.
