Based on the models of similar groups in the Boston area and New Hampshire, this group is non-instructional, except for demonstrating the tunes. A string orchestra playing mostly New England Contra Dance tunes will aim to play each year at the Worcester Contra Dance (Valentine's Day weekend), or for other community dances throughout New England. Guest area musicians like Riverbend, will be invited to play along in the group. Registration for this group includes all sheet music.
